Pamela Picard, MRM™, RMT - INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE
Since I was a little girl I always felt something coming from my hands and an innate desire within to help people. I was blessed with a loving upbringing. My journey in life has brought me to become a loving wife and mother of two amazing boys. In 2008, my youngest son was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. Shortly after his first surgery we discovered his tumor was filled with Lyme Disease. After two surgeries within a six month period, a pic-line to the heart with two antibiotics that cross the brain barrier and radiation treatments, he was finally on his way to a stable recovery.
During that time my connection to God's loving light through lots of prayer gave me direction to his healing path. This experience opened my heart to a greater power for helping people heal through Reiki Energy Healing, meditation and nutrition! Since his recovery I have focused my studies in Usui Reiki- receiving certificates in Reiki Master/Teacher, Medical Reiki Master™ , Science & Art of Herbalism, Light Touch Massage studies at YALE New Haven Hospital, Astrological Studies at Terraloka Wellness Studio and a Mental Health First Aider with the National Council for Behavioral Health. It is also my pleasure to give time to Volunteering at Regional Hospice in Danbury. I find working with seniors and cancer patients, along with their families, very rewarding. My Medical Reiki™ practice has allowed me to have worked in Yale New Haven Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and St. Francis Hospital supporting patients during Surgery and Chemotherapy Treatments.
Teaching with Healing Halls of Ivy
I am privileged to work with Kimberly Schmus, RMT, LMT. We have collaborated and created training manuals for Usui Reiki I, II and Master/Teacher Levels. We also are CE Providers with NCBTMB, a massage therapy certification program offered Nationwide and we provide CE credits for Usui Reiki I & II Trainings. Along with trainings, we also offer meditation events in Brookfield in our Healing Space for clients and special groups.
